Fabulous product – high quality and really comprehensive. I used it throughout my first pregnancy and will absolutely be using it again. I regularly recommend it to my clients as a fertility nutritionist. It includes choline, which is so important yet often missing from prenatal supplements, and provides appropriate iron levels for pregnancy, unlike many other brands where intake can fall short and contribute to anaemia. The Vitality Capsule

I have been taking this supplement before and after my pregnancy. Although my labour did not go to plan and I required an emergency c section, I feel that my recovery has benefited from this supplement. I’m aware that postpartum some women can suffer with hair loss and problem skin but I have not experienced either. My post c section swelling has gone down very quickly and I have already lost half of the total weight I gained despite not being able to exercise. I have also not suffered with any constipation since leaving hospital and therefore digestion/metabolism is working well. Will continue to take this supplement!

Before purchasing I did a lot of research around antenatal vitamins. As a simpleton when it comes to food I wanted to be sure baby was getting everything they need! I was iron deficient prior to pregnancy so needed to find something containing good qualities.. I chose this brand after careful consideration and plenty of reading! I have been taking the essence capsules alongside the omega capsules for a while now and am very happy with the contents and benefits… my midwife even said I have the best irons levels she’s seen in a pregnant woman. I had a really awful acne outbreak at the beginning of my pregnancy that I noticed was taking much longer to heal than if I weren’t pregnant, likely because nutrients/ collagen from food are going to the baby. I stopped taking my prenatal because of the high biotin/ b12 which can aggravate skin conditions, but still wanted to make sure I was getting enough nutrients for me and baby that are pregnancy safe. Before pregnancy I used to take a collagen and vit c supplement every day, the vitamin d is also great for dark uk winters, so far I am happy with this product.

Has a very strong smell, the pills are quite large so if you have difficulty swallowing large pills then you might want to open it up and mix it in your tea, water or fruit juice. It has choline in the recommended quantity, this is rare as some companies don’t offer choline in their pregnancy supplements at all and others don’t have anywhere close to the recommended amount.
